Julie’s art classes are run by me, Julie Hallett. I have been a professional artist for over 30 years.

 I’m a self-taught artist and I started my career by selling my own artwork and also trained as a professional antique print watercolourist. I have restored and coloured antique steel, copperplate, and woodcut prints for print dealers all over the world. 

Whilst continuing to paint, I have also worked in local Primary and Secondary schools for many years. After seeing first-hand how little time art is given to students at school, I decided to start my own art classes in my studio in Arborfield Green  in Reading, Berkshire.

I offer workshops and classes in order to inspire and enhance every student’s creative spark and spirit. I am fully DBS Enhanced checked and Safeguarding and Prevent trained.My classes build confidence using 2D and 3D media in a warm and friendly environment, where everyone learns new techniques and are proud of their work.
